Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Koridor service (“Service”), operated by Koridor Trade Intelligence LLC (“Koridor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Koridor provides AI-powered customs classification, duty estimation, and document requirement services to freight forwarders via WhatsApp. Users send commercial invoices (as photos, PDFs, or text), and the Service returns Harmonized System (HS) code classifications, estimated duty rates, and corridor-specific document checklists.

3. Service Provided “As Is”

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

4. Classifications Are Estimates

All HS code classifications, duty rate estimates, and document requirement lists provided by the Service are estimates for informational purposes only. They are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

You should always verify classifications, duty rates, and document requirements with the relevant customs authorities, licensed customs brokers, or qualified trade compliance professionals before relying on them for customs declarations, duty payments, or regulatory filings.

Koridor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any classification or estimate to your specific shipment or jurisdiction.

5. Koridor Is Not a Customs Broker

Koridor Trade Intelligence LLC is not a licensed customs broker, freight forwarder, or legal services provider. The Service does not constitute customs brokerage, legal advice, tax advice, or any other professional service that requires a government-issued license.

Nothing in the Service should be construed as legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. The Service is a classification assistance tool intended to help freight forwarders begin their customs research — it is not a substitute for professional customs brokerage services.

6. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the invoice data you submit to the Service.
• You are responsible for verifying all classifications and estimates before using them in customs declarations or regulatory filings.
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including facilitating the import or export of prohibited or sanctioned goods.
• You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service through automated scripting, excessive requests, or other disruptive behavior.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Koridor Trade Intelligence LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Customs penalties, fines, or duties resulting from incorrect classifications or estimates provided by the Service.
• Delays, seizures, or confiscation of goods at customs due to incorrect or incomplete document checklists.
• Loss of revenue, profit, business opportunity, or goodwill arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.
• Any losses resulting from errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in HS code classifications, duty estimates, or document requirements.

In no event shall Koridor’s total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to Koridor for use of the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Koridor Trade Intelligence LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Koridor name, logo, and all related product and service names, design marks, and slogans are trademarks of Koridor Trade Intelligence LLC. The Service, including its software, algorithms, and aggregated intelligence outputs, is the proprietary property of Koridor.

You retain ownership of the invoice data you submit. By using the Service, you grant Koridor a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your invoice data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify affected users via WhatsApp. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
